Forgot password / change password (EN)

You can use these instructions to change your password for DSHS-ID.

Click on the following link: https://portal.dshs-koeln.de/

The page mentioned above will open. To reset your password, click on "Forgot password?":

In the next step, as the "Username" enter your DSHS-ID and date of birth, then click "Next" to confirm:

An email containing a confirmation code will now be sent to your personal email address registered with the university. Enter this code in the next step and click "Verify" to confirm:

You can then set a new password.

„The password must be at least 12 characters long and include a special character, a number, and both uppercase and lowercase letters. Additionally, it must not contain any character sequence from your name or your DSHS-ID.“

Finally, click "Change" to confirm the process.
