StudMail is an email service offered by Microsoft as part of Office 365. Students at the German Sport University Cologne can apply for this service and receive an email address (@stud.dshs-koeln.de).
Use of the service is voluntary and free of charge.
At https://portal.dshs-koeln.de, you can apply for a Studmail account by following these steps:
1. Click the “Log In” button
2. Next, log in using your DSHS ID followed by @dshs-koeln.de (e.g., ab1234@dshs-koeln.de). Do not enter your email address here!
3.In the portal, click “Shop” on the left, and then click the “+” icon in the row for the Studmail account:
4.In the pop-up window that opens, you can leave the “Gültig Bis (Valid Until)” and " Begründung ( Reason fields) " blank. Simply click the "Hinzufügen (Add) ” button:
5.You will then receive an email at the email address you provided to us, containing a username (which is also your new Studmail address) and a one-time password for your first login. You must change the one-time password after your first login.
Please note that it may take a few hours after you submit the form to receive a confirmation email!
If you already have an account, you can log in at https://www.office.com .
You can change the password for your Studmail account by using the “Forgot Password” feature at https://www.office.com .
Students are authorized to use the products during the licensed period. If the agreement is terminated or expires, all products used under this agreement must be deleted.
The use of Microsoft products is subject to the terms of the Campus and School Agreement, including, but not limited to, limitations of liability, disclaimers of warranties, and the exclusion of remedies and claims.
Please note: Upon withdrawal from the university, your Studmail account will be deleted. It will then no longer be possible to recover the data it contains!
