Eduroam on Windows (EN)

Before connecting to Eduroam you need an active internet connection in order to download the Eduroam configuation tool.
Alternatively you can copy the tool via USB drive from another computer.

To download, go into a browser of your choice (e.g. Firefox, Chrome...) and open https://cat.eduroam.org/?idp=7481.

Download the installer by clicking on the big blue button that shows your operating system (here "MS Windows 10, 11).

Open the downloaded file and confirm the security warning.

Click on "Weiter" and then on "OK"

In the following window the username is already pre-filled with "@dshsserver.dshs-koeln.de".

Please enter your DSHS-ID in front of "@dshsserver.dshs-koeln.de" (e.g. AB1234@dshsserver.dshs-koeln.de)

Now enter your password twice and klick "Installieren".

Now you can connect to Eduroam in the list of available wifi networks.
